The Role

As a Technical Project Manager, you will play a key role in managing the end-to-end delivery of event projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will work closely with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to plan, execute, and oversee projects, keeping stakeholders informed and ensuring seamless delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring key milestones and deliverables are met.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and manage resources effectively.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to ensure AV equipment, logistics, and personnel are allocated appropriately.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent communication and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct risk assessments and resolve project issues swiftly to keep projects on track.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of equipment and services.
  • Provide post-project evaluation, reporting on successes, challenges, and lessons learned.


What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of experience managing technical or AV projects in events, installations, or a related field.
  • Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of AV equipment, technologies, and systems (audio, video, lighting, rigging, etc.).
  • Project Management Skills: Proven ability to plan, execute, and deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong multitasking abilities and excellent attention to detail.
  • Communication: Exceptional client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Qualifications: A relevant degree or project management certification (e.g., Prince2, PMP) is desirable but not essential.
